Part concert and part awards, the Canadian Independent Music Awards – “The Indies” – are one of Canada’s premier and most anticipated shows honouring the independent sector. Now in our 17th year, The Indies bring emerging artists to the forefront and celebrate their achievements in front of industry and fans.

An annual event, the Indies features appearances and performances by some of the country’s – and the world’s – most talented emerging artists fused with the presentation of awards to the past year’s fan favourites.
